To support bootstrapping of our insurance system, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. An ideal candidate for us is a self-starter, that can proactively identify areas for system\infra improvements and act as a stakeholder for such changes.
Salary range: €75,000 - €100,000
YOUR MISSION
Be a founding member of our engineering team, design and develop our insurance company system from scratch
Participate in team discussions, bring ideas to the table, and write clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code
Bring best practices to the table and apply the latest technology to ensure an excellent end product
Apply DevOps/NoOps principles in our infrastructure-as-a-code environment
Job requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Production experience with Kotlin and/or Java
Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices
Experience with AWS (ObjectDB, Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, SQS, SNS, Cognito)
Experience working with DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
Problem-solving and collaborative mindset
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in Insurance/FinTech
Experience and willingness to work with frontend technologies(React, TypeScript)
Mentorship experience: the capability to successfully transfer knowledge
