To support bootstrapping of our insurance system, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. An ideal candidate for us is a self-starter, that can proactively identify areas for system\infra improvements and act as a stakeholder for such changes.

Salary range: €75,000 - €100,000 


YOUR MISSION

  • Be a founding member of our engineering team, design and develop our insurance company system from scratch

  • Participate in team discussions, bring ideas to the table, and write clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code

  • Bring best practices to the table and apply the latest technology to ensure an excellent end product

  • Apply DevOps/NoOps principles in our infrastructure-as-a-code environment

Job requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Production experience with Kotlin and/or Java

  • Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices

  • Experience with AWS (ObjectDB, Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, SQS, SNS, Cognito)

  • Experience working with DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)

  • Problem-solving and collaborative mindset

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in Insurance/FinTech

  • Experience and willingness to work with frontend technologies(React, TypeScript)

  • Mentorship experience: the capability to successfully transfer knowledge
